Continental Best Chocolate® is a family-owned Mexican chocolate manufacturer established in 1964. For more than six decades, our work has been guided by a single principle: transform the richness of Mexican cacao into chocolate that reflects its origins, its culture, and the tradition behind it. From our beginnings as a local producer in Mexico City, we have grown into one of Mexico’s most respected chocolate companies, earning a reputation for authenticity, consistency, and exceptional quality.

Our premium line, Vanuato Kakaw®, embodies this vision. Named after the ancient Nahuatl word kakaw, it pays homage to the Mesoamerican civilizations that cultivated and revered cacao as the “Food of the Gods.” Today, we continue that heritage with a modern, meticulous approach to chocolate making — one that respects the identity of each cacao bean and the history it represents.

Creation: Our Factory

From a modest workshop in the 1960s, we now operate a state-of-the-art facility of more than 10,000 m² with a team of over 220 specialists. Our installed production capacity reaches 24 tons of chocolate per day, or 8,640 tons per year. Every step of the process, from roasting and grinding to conching, tempering, and molding, takes place under one roof. This allows us to maintain full control over quality, consistency, and flavor.

All our chocolate is made using natural ingredients, carefully selected single-origin Mexican cacao, and techniques refined through generations of craftsmanship.

We export to the United States, Canada, Germany, Spain, France, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates, among other markets.

Our chocolate is certified under NOM-186-SSA1/SCFI-2002, provided by NYCE, guaranteeing authenticity and the highest quality standards for genuine Mexican chocolate.

In 2016, our chocolate-covered coffee beans earned the Silver Medal at the International Chocolate Awards in London, a recognition that celebrates the excellence and flavor precision of our products.

We source single-origin cacao from regional growers and trace each bean back to its origin with care. Our mission is simple: to honor Cacao’s history while crafting Chocolate products that meet modern tastes and standards, pure, honest, and elevated.
